Breast cancer is the most common curable cancer in females provided it is diagnosed at proper time. the key to complete cure is early diagnosis and quick treatment.
when should a lady be suspicious: usually breast cancers get detected late as they are asymptomatic early during the course of the disease. every women after 30 years of age should undergo breast self examination frequently and look for these signs:
1) asymmetry in both breasts
2) feeling of lumpiness
3) the lump doesnt move
4) the nipple becomes retracted
5) bloody discharge from nipple
6) orange/ lemon skin like pitted appearance of the skin
7) lump in axilla
8) loss of apetite/ unexplained loss of weight
9) MOTHER OR GRANDMOTHER OR MATERNAL AUNT HAD CA BREAST
